About the Artist
Professor George Wolberg is an internationally acclaimed engineer and inventor who has spent his entire career bridging the gap between art and technology.
George’s creation of ‘Pintillism’ is the culmination of his love of art, design, engineering and fabrication.
Born in Buenos Aires, George moved to New York where he earned a PhD in Computer Science at Columbia University for his ground-breaking work in Digital Image Warping.
As an authority in his field, George teaches at the City College of New York, has published books on the subject and has a number of other inventions to his name.
George lives in NY with his family where he creates all his Pintillism art pieces from his studio. He is also concert level piano player and loves the arts and problem solving.
